Born and raised in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the grandson of a coal miner and the son of a surgeon, Dr. Isariyawongse has come home, joining the staff of Suburban Urologic Associates in August 2013.

His expertise includes urologic oncology, specifically the treatment of prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and testicular cancer. He is the first urologist in Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs, Forbes Hospital, and Jefferson Hospital to offer robotic-assisted surgery via the da Vinci Surgical System, which affords a quicker recovery for his patients.

Dr. Isariyawongse offers patients prevention and treatment for benign urologic conditions as well including kidney stones, benign prostatic enlargement, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary incontinence, low testosterone, and sexual and erectile dysfunction. He is one of only a handful of urologists in southwestern Pennsylvania offering Botox injections of the bladder for urinary symptoms and incontinence. He is additionally certified for Greenlight laser vaporization of the prostate and no-scalpel vasectomy.

Prior to joining Suburban Urologic Associates, Dr. Isariyawongse had completed his urologic training and a surgical internship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio in 2005. He is a 2001 graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in molecular biology and biochemistry.

He maintains membership with the American Urologic Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Allegheny County Medical Society.
